Brass Key is a small family owned business who started out making such things as brass beds. The company is based in Seattle, Washington and was founded by Bill and Margaret Suiter.
While visiting one of their brass bed vendors Suiter's daughter noticed a room full of beautiful dolls and the Brass Key doll idea was born. Brass Key entered the doll market in the 1990's.
Their dolls were first featured in the Nordstrom catalog and later carried by Target stores. The dolls were great sellers.
The wonderful thing about Brass Key dolls is their beauty. Their faces are exquisite as well as their outfits. They are fit for any collector yet they are very affordable.
Brass Key won over the very selective Disney Company with their beautiful dolls and attention to detail. The first Disney Princess line was launced in 2002. The line has featured many Disney Princesses including Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine and even Tinker Bell.
Brass Key has also introduced a new line of Disney Holiday Villages including Pooh's 100 Acre Wood, Cinderella and Snow White cottages. Great for holiday decorating!
In 2004 Brass Key was awarded Disney's Vendor of the Year. Quite an honor for this little doll company.
I love the Brass Key dolls. They are beautiful and elegant. They look gorgeous on display. Brass Key has different sizes of dolls. The large dolls are 16" and they also have 7" dolls.
I have just added 3 sets of Brass Key Dolls in my store. The new line of Disney Princess Enchanted Nursery dolls is adorable. I have a set of Cinderella, Snow White and Aurora Enchanted Nursery dolls. I also have two sets which feature Belle and Snow White. Two from the Spring Bouquet Collection, Snow White from the Royal Ball Collection and Belle from the Blossoms Collection.
