She wrote 22 other books and bought a farm with the proceeds.
She raised sheep.
She created the first patented stuffed toy in 1903, which makes Peter Rabbit the oldest licensed character.
There was a movie made about her life entitled "Miss Potter".
She was played by Renee Zellweger.
Some of her other stories include: "The Tale of Benjamin Bunny", "The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy Winkle" and "The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies".
I particularly loved Flopsy, Mopsy and Cotton Tail when I was a child. These stories are indeed timeless tales.
